Dr. Michael Ahdout, DMD, is a general dentist who earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Yeshiva University. During his undergraduate studies, he was actively involved in community service, outreach initiatives, and tutoring students of all ages, reflecting an early commitment to education and service. Following college, Dr. Ahdout spent a year working as a substitute teacher, science instructor, and private tutor before continuing his education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. While at Penn, he served as President of Alpha Omega, an international dental organization, where he collaborated with and supported dental student leaders nationwide. After graduating from Penn, Dr. Ahdout completed a General Practice Residency at Hackensack University Medical Center. During his residency, he received extensive hands-on training across all facets of dentistry, including restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, emergency care, and comprehensive treatment planning for medically complex patients. Following his residency, Dr. Ahdout served as Lead Dentist at a large, multi-provider family dental practice, where he provided comprehensive care to a diverse patient population. In this role, he was responsible not only for delivering high-quality clinical treatment but also for mentoring associate dentists, collaborating with specialists, overseeing treatment planning, and maintaining clinical standards across the practice. This experience further strengthened his ability to manage complex cases while delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment. Dr. Ahdout brings his strong background in education and leadership into every patient interaction. He believes in involving patients fully in their treatment plans by clearly explaining diagnoses, procedures, and options, ensuring patients feel informed, relaxed, and confident in their care. His goal is to build lasting relationships rooted in trust, transparency, and mutual understanding between provider and patient.
