Jacky Chen

Dentist

Dr. Chen is a Bay Area native, growing up in San Jose. He obtained his Bachelors degree in Economics and Biology at UC San Diego. Then moving to Los Angeles for his Doctorate in Dental Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences. He is able to speak fluent Cantonese Chinese. Dr. Chen believes in practicing dentistry with the highest standard of care while ensuring the procedure is as pain-less as possible. He takes his time to explain the results of the examination and the different treatment options available, ensuring the patient’s questions and concerns regarding their dental health are answered. Outside of work, he enjoys visiting the many scenic hikes in the Bay Area, cooking Chinese food, and spending time trying new cuisines at restaurants.

Nicole Kriege

Hygienist

Nicole Kriege joined the Onsite Dental team at the University of Santa Cruz in October of 2014. She received her associates degree in Dental Hygiene from Cabrillo College and her bachelors in Health Science from California State University, East Bay. Her goal with each patient is to provide them with the most comfortable and relaxed experience while educating them on their oral health. Away from the office she enjoys outdoor adventures, like mountain biking and snowboarding, with her husband and two daughters.

Roger Lau

Oral Surgeon

Dr. Roger Lau, a native of the Bay Area, has emerged as a trailblazing oral surgeon committed to advancing the field. Graduating as valedictorian from San Leandro High School, he went on to achieve a B.S. in Biochemistry from UCLA, earning a place on the dean's honor list. He continued his educational journey at UCLA School of Dentistry, obtaining his DDS degree. Dr. Lau's pursuit of excellence led him to New York City, where he completed dual oral and maxillofacial surgery internships at Montefiore Medical Center and Mount Sinai Hospital. This experience set the stage for his four-year residency at Allegheny Health Network, Pittsburgh, including a chief resident year. Under the tutelage of global experts, he mastered dental implants, sleep apnea surgery, and corrective jaw procedures. A member of prestigious organizations like AAOMS and ACOMS, Dr. Lau's surgical prowess spans dental implants, facial trauma revision, and more. Beyond his professional achievements, he enjoys snowboarding and travel. Dr. Roger Lau's journey exemplifies a commitment to innovation, learning, and elevating oral surgery to new heights.
